Haven't Been Blogging in A While

The title pretty much sums up this post LOL! Although I have been checking out different blogger templates to give it a nice appeal. Phantasmagoria does have an artistic look to it but some parts dont seem to work right because of the coding..and I DONT KNOW coding =/ ...sucks.
Speaking of my Phantasmagoria blog, I ran into this cool poster of an upcoming movie by Marylin Manson called Phantasmagoria!! =D
It definetly sounds like a movie i'd like to watch, plus it's Manson's first attempt to be a filmmaker.
Here is the synopsis:

Victorian England.

A haunted writer in an isolated castle is tormented by sleepless nights and visions of a girl named Alice. He finds himself becoming a symptom of his own invention.

“Now all my nightmares know my name.”

He is Lewis Carroll. Terrified of what waits for him each night.

Alice In Wonderland

Tim Burton's new movie Alice in Wonderland is gonna be friggin awesome! I mean look at these pictures of the cast!! I am such a HUGE Tim Burton fan; i love all his movies, short stories and all his characters. He is like a total genius to me and I greatly admire his unique artistic vision in everything he has done. Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time favorite from his movies, but I'd say Alice In Wonderland might just top it now. Its still a Disney movie tho, so let's hope the people at Disney dont screw things up and start limiting what he wants to do with the movie. I can't wait!! =]

Standing Up For Who You Are

*** I took this from Gabriel's Motivation in a bottle...
I really liked the way he expressed his view, and I agree with him completely.

In today's society people seem way to occupied with survival. People focus all their energy and time in keeping a job or making money.

Personally, even I sometime find myself denying who I am because it make someone else uncomfortable. That is wrong. I know it. But, sometimes the fear of losing a job or not having the approval of my peers makes me switch into self preservation mode. Whether its being afraid of acting too gay, or ignoring a comment that was said because you/I don't want to make someone else uncomfortable. It's simply wrong. I know for a fact that those who disapprove of you will do so no matter what you do, and the more you try to get them to like you - the more they will in turn openly disrespect you. So its better to just be who you are, express yourself how you like and let what's going to happen happen.

All this is especially true when your dealing with a person that is feeling uncomfortable around you based on some bias or bigoted idea they hold. Don't let their myopic ideas or dogmas poison your own. And it happens, a lot. These are some examples I've seen:

-People being afraid to be too gay because of fear they will offend someone.
-People who form opinions about societal/political issues based on trying to agree with someone, as opposed to actually life experiences.
-People who don't socialize based on being afraid of not being accepted.
-People who have changed political parties either to agree with someone or to take revenge on someone.
-People who try to look religious to be liked or to please.
-People who buy into gossip or hatred of another person to agree with someone or be liked.

I'm sure many of these we have all seen. It's sad and disappointing that people have to go to these lengths in order to feel security. I don't think social or job security should be so valuable as to compromise self security.

Now, I'm not going to lie and say I hold this to be true for everyone. Do I think a bigot that hold hatred and disdain for gays should be able to freely express themselves? No. I'm know that might look one sided, but I'm a firm believer in do what you want, as long as it doesn't hurt/suppress another. Someone being flamboyant at work or in a restaurant doesn't stop someone else from being happy. But, talking or expressing bigotry does make someone fearful to be who they are, in turn making them unhappy (if the bigotry your expressing it towards Blacks, Asians, Jews, Gays, Muslims, Women...etc.).

Picture this - A black person is in a restaurant eating. In the table next to them there are a group of individuals making racist jokes and hateful comments against blacks. The black people would want to leave, no? The racists should be told to stop or kicked out, right? The difference between being Asian or Black and Gay or Jewish is that somethings people can hide and somethings people can't hide. You can't hide being black but you can hide being gay.

If you were to tell this same scenario with a gay person instead of a black person, you would probably say for the gay person to stop acting flamboyant or to act straight to stay out of harms way. Your first instinct probably wouldn't be to say that the anti-gay comments stop, right? Think about it. Things like being Jewish or Gay are easily hidden. But, should they have to be hidden? No. Never.

To close this up, people should be who they are as long as it's not stopping anyone else from being who they are. If you're offended because someone is expressing racist or hateful ideas against you, your justified in being offended. If you're offended because someone is being themselves and you just don't like it, even though it truly doesn't have anything to do with you...your a bigot.

Glad to have Sonia Sotomayor

I'm very happy to have a non old white man as a new supreme court judge. It's funny, yesterday morning on the radio (93.1), they were discussing exactly the same thing about how we have nothing but OLD white men as the supreme court judges of this country. As they were saying on the radio, "how do you expect 70 year old men to behave and think like? ..like 70 year old men with 70 year old frames of minds!" no wonder we have a flaud way of choosing the right laws. And that is ofcourse one of the reasons why there are barely any gay rights. Because these old farts dont have a single gay friend!! Thank the gods for Sotomayors fresher an younger, more in tune to the real world mind frame. Hopefully she has a gay hairstyler keeping her looking great! :D

Maggie Gallagher AKA fat Stupid Bitch

Let me tell you a little bit about a person known as Maggie Gallagher. Maggie is the president for an organization called NOM, the National Organization for Marriage. NOM basically supports and stands by the meaning of marriage as being between a man and a woman. They are very adamant about it.
Now let's introduce Joe Solmonese. Joe is the president of HRC, the Human Rights Campaign. Joe believes in equality for all people. Especially marriage equality.
These two people met up on MSNBC last month because of a television ad that miss piggy, I mean miss Gallagher aired in the northern states on April 7th.
After watching the video on YouTube, I concluded that Maggie Gallagher is a fat stupid bitch. Yes you heard me right, a fat ugly fkn bitch with two chins and two horns growing out her fat head.
Please watch this video.

Doodle 4 Google

This was really cool. If you go to Google's homepage between May 11th - 18th, there's a link to go to Google's Doodle 4 Google site. It's a site where Kids all over the country are competing to have their drawings of the word Google displayed on Google.com on May 21st. The theme the Kids were given was "What I wish for the world." I voted for Meaghan Parker's drawing, which I posted above. It made me happy to see her vision on how to represent the word Google for an entire day for the whole world to see.
She's only 17 and this is what she has to say: I wish for more hope, hope for the future. I wish there was more love. Love for the environment and people. I wish for more joy. I wish for peace, a movement for it. I wish for more trees. I wish for gay rights, now.
I only wish the world could see it as clearly as she and I can see it. As cute and very talented as the other Kids drawings are, I would like for you to consider voting for Meaghan's drawing which is located in the grades 10-12 tab. It's a powerful message through artistic imagination that can inspire many people throughout the world for the real meaning of Peace on Earth.

My car ...in progress

Here's a picture of my scion tC as it's being slowly modified. So far i've bought new headlights and tail lights. I got the kind that are halo lights, like BMWs have. My first compliment was from a little 12 year old kid on a bike that passed by when I was installing them, he was like "coool lights! they look like alien eyes!" LOL!
Oh and I finally got tints too! lol I know its about time, cuz its sooo friggin hot right now in Florida!! So yeah I'm going for a clean look to the car but I still want it to be different from all the other tC's I see around town. Eventually I want to get lambo doors (vertical doors that open UP!) OMG I can't wait! ** siiiiigh...i love cars ^.^

School Bullying

This was something that happened just last month (April 2009) but I didnt want to leave it out. Two eleven year old boys committed suicide last month, because they were bullied at school for being gay.
....now take a moment to imagine, seriously, ...and try to place yourself in these 2 boys lives. Place yourself being back at 11 years old, ...but now imaging living day to day being bullied and harrassed at school. You can't do anything about it. You're scared to death half if not most of the day being at school. You don't have confidence in yourself to fight back because you are being put down verbally and physically by other boys. You try to make up excuses to your parents why you don't want to go to school, that you hate it, or you feel sick. But you have to go to school eventually, and you have to face fear again.
Can you not imagine the fear that these two boys must have felt at their age? Desperately feeling agony and confusion.. helplessness and loneliness..they killed themselves.
I can relate to these kids because I experienced it myself. I was never out to anyone at the time, and that made me scared and lonely. But I dealt with it day in and day out. I was about 13.
What sickens me is that this stuff can be prevented by simply controlling school bullying, including LGBT issues in social classes, and teaching kids that gay is not bad. We need better protection laws to include the safety of all kids in all schools. And honestly, this needs to be taught at an early age because kids develop the personalities they will have as adults around the time they are in middle school. When you have kids(because you have every right to, unlike me), please teach your kids about life as it should be. Tell them that gay people mean no harm to anyone and that they are good people. For the people that know me, you should know very well that I have been nothing but a good friend, a brother or a son to you. When you put politics and religion aside, all you have left is humanity, and that's something that we can all relate to and understand.
I hope you understand me now =)

..is a Dumb Bitch!

MIIIIISS CALIIIIFORNIAAA..not really, dumb bitch lost. So here is Miss Prajean again in the news. If you dont remember her, she was that idiot on the news from Miss USA Pageant that is opposed to same sex marriage. Well this bitch, not only is she a christian, she's a robot too. She's showing us exactly how brainwashing works over at the "good" churches of America.
She says: "Marriage is good. There is something special about unions of husband and wife. Unless we bring men and women together, children will not have mothers and fathers."
I can just imagine churches being like factories with christians rolling out of conveyer belts preaching "I am good! Kill all gays! Pay attention to me because gays are not like me!"
And yet here she was running for a "role model" position as miss california..but she had nudie pix of herself.
"I am a Christian, and I am a model," she said. "Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos."
oook...so how do you explain this!:
The first photo made public shows Prejean -- who said she was 17 at the time -- wearing pink panties and no top. She is turned away from the camera, with her arm hiding most of her breast. The second photo is essentially the same, but Prejean is looking over her opposite shoulder.

LOL..dumb bitch

MAINE

Yesterday (5/7/09) Maine became the 5th state to legalize gay marriage! It's exciting for me to see how so much of the northern New England area is SO accepting of gay people and their right to be equal to everyone. I wish it was the same everywhere. I really wish conservatives weren't such ignorant people.
I mean look at this article clip from nydailynews.com It's a well written article that clearly proves the right mentality behind a person like Maine's Gov. John Baldacci. It gives me the impression that he's a well educated man that also cares about his state's people. And then look at " boredickey " down at the bottom of the article. That's exactly what I mean by ignorant people! First of all, the fact that he used the word "Folks" shows what an old fashioned douchebag hick he is. I'm gay, but i'm not disgusting. He should be the disgusting one for wanting to marry a donkey from his fkn farm. I bet you he's an old fat sweaty disgusting man displaying his confederate flag on his old beat up truck. And what human rights is he talking about?! He deserves the right to go back to school and learn some manners, learn how to accept all people in a growing society.. and how to write better. What a loser..
